Conveyor belts for wine cellars

Technical solutions for each phase of the winemaking process: grape reception, destemming, sorting table, pressing, filling and bottling. Resistant to must and organic acids.

The wine sector requires belts that withstand contact with must, organic acids (tartaric, malic, citric), sugars, water and cleaning products, from grape reception to bottling. Destemming, optical sorting, pressing and packaging lines need hygienic, non-slip belts resistant to constant moisture.

At NFP Industrial we supply Kunming Conveyor Belt Co., Ltd. belts adapted to each phase of the winemaking process, with food certification and materials resistant to the acids naturally present in grapes.

Recommended belts for each winery phase

Reception and destemming

PVC belts with grip profile (SG, BP or T1) for inclined transport of grape bunches from the reception hopper to the destemmer. Resistant material, easy to clean after each harvest day.

  • SG (Supergrip) profile for inclines up to 30°
  • BP (Button) profile for gentle inclines with small fruit
  • AO feature to resist oil from stems and grape skins

Sorting table

White or blue PU belts with smooth surface for visual berry inspection by tasters. FDA as standard. Minimum pulley diameter from 3 mm for compact artisan winery tables.

  • White or detectable blue colour for visual quality control
  • FDA as standard — direct contact with fresh grapes
  • Widths from 300 mm for narrow manual sorting tables

Pressing and filling zone

ESM or SOLID TPU homogeneous belts to withstand aggressive pressure water washing and chemical cleaning products. No internal fabric that could absorb must or yeast residues.

  • ESM (TPO): 90 Shore A hardness, FDA, range -10 °C to +60 °C
  • SOLID TPU: 93 Shore A hardness, FDA, 2% elongation
  • Resistance to tartaric acid and malic acid present in must

Bottling and packaging

PVC or PU belts with smooth and antistatic (AS) surface for bottle and case handling. The AS property prevents labels from sticking to the belt and prevents static charge from building up on the filling line.
