The splicing press (joint machine) is the essential tool for making permanent joints in lightweight conveyor belts. Unlike mechanical fasteners, thermal press splicing fuses the belt ends using controlled heat and pressure, achieving a homogeneous joint that maintains the mechanical properties of the original belt.

What types of belt is the splicing press suitable for?
- •PVC belts: All configurations (1–4 plies, all surface profiles)
- •PU belts: Including FDA-certified belts for food processing
- •Homogeneous belts: TPU, TPO and TPEE single-material
- •Transmission belts: Flat and profiled
Not designed for heavy rubber belts — for those, the solution is the ComiX ALEX vulcanizer.
How to choose the right model?
The main criterion is the width of the belt you need to splice. Choose the model whose operating width is equal to or greater than your belt width. If you work with several belt widths, choose the model that covers the maximum width — a 2000 mm press can splice belts of 600, 1000 or 1500 mm without any issue.

- •Frequency of use: If you splice belts daily, the higher power of the larger models speeds up the process
