Recycling and waste management plants handle heterogeneous, abrasive materials that often contain sharp objects: glass, metal, rubble, plastics, wood and organic waste. Belts suffer extreme wear and require high-abrasion and tear-resistant covers.
At NFP Industrial we supply rubber conveyor belts from Zhejiang Fuda Rubber with grade D (high abrasion) and H (anti-tear) covers, as well as lightweight belts from Kunming Conveyor Belt for manual sorting and optical selection lines.
Recommended belts for recycling
Rubber for primary transport (Fuda)
EP or NN multi-ply belts with grade D cover (≥ 18 MPa, abrasion ≤ 160 mm³). Widths from 300–2500 mm, 2–6 plies. Designed to withstand the continuous impact of mixed and heavy materials at the plant intake.
Anti-tear rubber for metal waste (Fuda)
Rip-stop belts with transverse breakers to prevent sharp objects — iron rods, cables, glass fragments — from tearing the belt longitudinally. Stopping the tear avoids costly production shutdowns.
Chevron belts for inclined transport (Fuda)
Chevron belts with rib heights of 6–25 mm for transporting waste on slopes without slipping. Ideal for feeding crushers and vibrating screens.
Sidewall belts for vertical transport (Fuda)
Belts with lateral skirts of 60–500 mm height for vertical elevation of waste in confined spaces. Allow inclination angles of up to 90° without material spillage.
PVC for manual sorting (KMB)
2–3 ply PVC belts with smooth or embossed surface for sorting tables where operators manually separate materials. Antistatic (AS) models available for areas with electrostatic charge accumulation risk.
