Aggregate plants and quarries work with highly abrasive materials — granite, limestone, basalt, gravel — that wear out conventional belts quickly. Angular, heavy materials combined with high-impact loading points require grade D covers and rip-stop reinforcements.
At NFP Industrial we represent Zhejiang Fuda Rubber Co., Ltd. and offer the most suitable covers and carcass constructions for each point of the aggregate circuit.
Recommended belts for aggregates and quarries
Grade D EP belts (high abrasion)
Fuda grade D cover (≥ 18 MPa tensile strength, ≤ 160 mm³ abrasion loss) is the standard choice for transport of aggregates, gravels and crushed rock. The multi-ply EP carcass absorbs loading impacts without crack propagation.
- •Widths from 300 to 2500 mm, 2–6 EP plies
- •Working tensions from 160 N/mm to 1,250 N/mm
- •Manufactured to DIN 22102, ISO 14890 and EN 10138
Chevron belts for inclined transport
For inclined conveyors where the material tends to slide back. V-shaped chevron ribs, with heights from 6 mm to 25 mm, retain aggregate on slopes of up to 40° without needing to increase belt speed.
- •Rib heights: 6, 10, 15, 20, 25 mm
- •Single V or double V profile depending on angle of inclination
- •Compatible with grade D cover for maximum durability
Belts with grade H cover (rip-stop)
For loading points with coarse, sharp-edged material (blasted rock, rubble). The H cover (≥ 20 MPa, ≤ 150 mm³) with transverse breakers stops the propagation of any tear caused by pointed fragments.
